Projects

The school authority believes in a project based study mechanism. Hence the school undertakes various projects to enable student engagements. Special care is taken over the smooth functioning of the project. Environment is a big focus area and programmes like world environment day, world life conservation day, forestation day are observed in the school campus. Moreover, gardening and plantations are done inside the school campus to keep the school atmosphere green. There is a campus club named “Eco club”, which takes care of the activities related to environment projects. The campus Eco Club gives stress on cleanliness, plantation and sanitation for a peaceful, congenial academic atmosphere inside the school.

Science Exhibitions are frequently held and students from the school have acclaimed appreciations through their science projects in the district and state level. A few basic science workshops are also undertaken to help students participate in the district and state level exhibitions.

Disaster Management:

Being situated in a high seismic zone reason of Assam, the school authority is particularly concerned about the disaster management practices inside the campus. Several drills and projects are taken to teach students the necessity of disaster management techniques. In the mock drills, both the teachers and the students were made to participate.
