School Library
JN Memorial HS School has a well equipped library with reading facility. The library subscribes to a number of educational magazines, periodicals and news-papers. It contains a good number of useful books besides the text-books. The pupils are also allowed to borrow books – two at a time. The duration of retaining the book is fifteen days. The librarian, Mr. Asaf Ali is an avid book lover himself and has been managing the library since inception.
Class Room & Examination Center
To promote value based education is the sole mission of the school. Hence special efforts are made to up keep the motto “the destiny of India is now being shaped is the class rooms“. The class rooms are well furnished and well planned to accommodate 45-50 students. In the higher secondary section, two big class rooms are constructed to accommodate 150-200 students. Of late, microphone facility has also been provided for the convenience of the teacher as well as for the students inside the class room. Besides wall black board, power lighting, ceiling fans and other amenities are also available for smooth execution of the classes.
Presently the school has two separate buildings – one for high school section and the other for higher secondary section. Moreover, there are some additional sections of class room especially for the lower high school classes.
JN Memorial HS School is the centre for both HSLC and HS final examination (Arts) and the school students have the privilege of appearing for examination in their familiar place. In all the years the examinations are being conducted smoothly and efficiently; special appreciations are received from various sources for the smooth running of the examinations at the school premise. Besides, the evaluation of the answer scripts of HS final examination (Arts) has been conducted for three consecutive years with the full co-operation of the school staff.

Computer Education
All the students from class VI to X are exposed to computer and its applications in day-to- day life. The school has one well equipped computer laboratory room with around 10 PCs. Two teachers are appointed solely to impart computer education to the students. Presently the subject of Computer Science has also been introduced from class IX with the syllabus published by Secondary Education Board of Assam
School Playground
The school has a big playground to facilitate a culture of physical fitness among the students. The ground is also having a pavilion stand for accommodating the spectators. The ground is surrounded by concrete boundary walls from all the sides. This ensures the ground is not used for any other purpose than school activities. The Physical Training (PT) is also a separate period in the School curriculum under the supervision of one teacher. This period is conducted in the school playground.
